|
There are tons of guns laying around in Liberty City, your gonna have to know which ones you'll need for the job. Here is the complete list of weapons in Liberty City Stories.
 | AK-47
This assault rifle is the choice for gangster and gangbanger, aswell as the serious Mafioso. With its lightweight, large clip, and rapid-fire rate it makes a great weapon for fighting off multiple enemies.

Flamethrower
The flamethrower is certainly one of the most visceral and intimidating weapons ever devised by man. Shooting a thirty-foot column of flaming fuel, the flame thrower can create long lasting fires that burn well after you've made your escape, engulfing everything and anything nearby in searing hot flames.

 | M4
This light weight version of the M-16, is capable of a firing rate of 700-1,000 rounds a minute. Once a standard weapon of the US Special Forced, the M4 has quickly become very popular among Liberty Cities Elite Mafia soldiers capable of taking out multiple targets and shredding unarmored cars in a matter of seconds.

Micro SMG
This cheap lightweight SMG can be bough at your local fleamarket. Any punks or small time criminals will have this in their car trunk, Just itching for a drive-by.

 | Rocket Launcher
This is the mother of all explosives. Great for taking out a heli, or your occasional military tank. Not the weapon of choice for a clean or quick assassination. It's slow reload time and heavy weight makes it a rare use.

PSG-1
This perfect weapon for a long range, low attention kill. With its long scope and laser sight it makes it the most accurate and deadly rifle in Liberty City. If someone it shot with this gun, you know they had it coming.

 | Spaz
This Semi Automatic Shotgun is one of the fiercest shotguns on the market. Originally used by the SWAT teams and police forces to control riots and handle major situations, this semi-automatic rifles heavy and can deliver powerful loads of buckshot in quick succession. An extremely dangerous tool in the ongoing Family Wars of Liberty City, the government is looking the ban this rifle altogether.

Tec-9
Another cheap SMG, your granny may even have one in her sock drawer. Great for drive-bys and if you don't an assault rifle handy. Not the most accurate of SMGs but with its low price tag, it can be a handy weapon.

 | Ingram Mac 10
The choice SMG of gangsters and small times. With its adjustable stock and easy re-loadable clip, it is perhaps the best small SMG available. Great for dive buys with it's small design. Also good for a full fledge gang war.

Camera
Not so much a weapon (unless your a reporter watching crime lords). The camera is a great tool for gathering info on various low lifes around town, getting proof of backstabbers, or even taking some shots for the vacation types.

 | Chainsaw
The choice melee weapon of psychopaths, the chainsaw makes for a very deadly weapon. It's weight and size does make it quite unmanageable for a chase. But if you do catch your prey, they won't be lasting too long against it.

Chisel
Having put their time in various prisons to good use, it seems that the criminal element of Liberty City have begun popularizing the use of chisels to shank their victims. Easily concealed, these weapons can pass undetected and are the perfect weapon for a kill that won't draw a lot of attention.

 | Chrome Shotgun
A very nice pump-action shotgun with a fine Italian chrome finish. Great for the occasional stand off. A key weapon for small business protection. Long range this weapon is useless, but close range is very deadly.

Colt .45
Light, compact and dependable, this Austrian engineered Pistol is the perfect sidearm for any made man the go. A new arrival in Liberty City, the Pistol has won many awards for its performance and sleek design.

 | Hockeystick
Taking a cue from the sports world, thugs have been known recently to wield these long sturdy hockey sticks to take a whack at more than just pucks. Easily passed off as just a sports fan's favorite piece of memorabilia, these hockey sticks can get you more than just a few minutes in the penalty box if you're caught using it for "illegal roughage".

Katana
Once the weapons of the noble samurai in ancient Japan, the local Yakuza has decided to 'keep it real' and turn many of their enemies into thinly sliced sashimi with these long, razor sharp swords.

 | Machete
A weapon you would expect to see out in the jungles of the amazon, this melee weapon is great for proving a point when you kill someone. With the ability to hack off limbs and heads for that matter. The machete is a tool of the slightly deranged assassins.

.357
A very large, and very powerful handgun. This weapon will make a man do a backflip. Most of the time taking out a person with one shot to the chest. Hard to control and impossible to shot while running, what this gun lacks in control it makes up for with power.

 | Brass Knuckles
The ideal melee weapon for the man on the go. With its classic look and painful hit. The brass knuckles are the weapon of choice for beating the hell out of people, but not wanting them to die right away.

Axe
Available as most fire stations, the axe is a great melee weapon when in a closed area. It's a very heavy weapon, and not the fastest to fight with. But as with most heavy things, it packs a massive punch.

| Nightstick
The choice melee of the police, this weapon can pack a punch when being brutally beaten by six cops. While it may not be the deadliest weapon, it is very portable and cops never seem to be afraid to use them.

Baseball Bat
The ideal weapon for the sports fan, the baseball bat bring back memories of drunken brawls and full fledge beat downs. Most shopkeepers and even some civilians will pack this handy tool in their car.

| Knife
The weapon of choice when a gun isn't available. Small, light weight, and deadly. The knife may not kill a man with the first swipe, but it will hurt like hell. If they get away just follow the blood trail and finish them off.

Minigun
Originally developed for use mounted on military helicopters, this devastating weapon was popularized by the movie "Predator" in 1987. It has electrically-driven rotating barrels and an absolutely incredibly high rate of fire when maxed to its full potential and is capable of mowing down everything in path in hail of bullets. With great power however, comes, a price. The minigun is extremely heavy and difficult to wield, making it fairly impractical to tote around on a regular basis and thus a rare find in Liberty City.

| Meat Cleaver
Choice weapon of the fish loving triads. The meat cleaver is a deadly melee weapon. With this large blade and heavy hit, you may want to avoid this one. It can slice a cow's head in half with one swipe. So don't expect too much more to finish off you.

Grenades
Great for taking out cars or a mass amount of people. The grenade is a classic weapon mostly used by mercenaries or extremist. With it's short timer, one you throw it get the hell outta there.

| Bomb / Detonator
Similar to the grenade, this gives you more control of the explosion. Perfect for when setting up a big bang. Used by many hitmen when a car bomb is not available.

M60
A very heavy, very powerful machine-gun. Used by the military as a mounted gun on the battlefield. It makes a great way to destroy alot of people, aswell as vehicles. This does weigh you down tremendously. So not the best weapon for a quick on foot getaway.

| Stubby Shotgun
A small light shotgun with a fast firing rate. Great for a faster way to use a shotgun. With its fast reload time and short barrel, it is a very deadly weapon. But as with all shotguns, long range is useless.

Sniper Rifle
The basic sniper rifle for assassinations. No laser sight and not quite as accurate as the PSG-1 but alot cheaper. Used for long range, but perhaps a bit sloppier take-outs.

 | MP5 (SMG)
The full size SMG packs a huge punch for such a small size. Larger than the Micro SMG and Tec-9, it can be used in the same way. Drive-bys are much deadlier with this gun. When on foot it requires two hands to wield.

Molotov Cocktail
This is one of the most simple and deadly weapons. Just a liquor bottle and a cloth at first, but when lit and thrown it becomes a deadly Petrol bomb.
